Styrian Cardinal is a variety grown at the Slovenian Institute of Hop Research and Brewing in Žalec and it is of European and American heritage. The variety is characterized by very good agronomic characteristics for the production and harvesting of hops.

It is a fragrant variety with a higher content of alpha acids and gives the beer an exceptional, harmonious and typical aroma.
